Beetroot Cutlet also known as Beetroot tikki/patty is an instant & delicious healthy Indian snack. This yummy cutlet is very crispy on the outside with the layer of breadcrumbs. Inside the cutlet we have the combination of potato,beets, chick peas, onions and various spices which makes the inside soft and flavorful. This amazing beetroot cutlet is very easy to make. Beetroot also adds a natural dark pinkish color to the cutlet and makes this dish look attractive. Ingredients for Beetroot cutlet / Beetroot tikki Potato Onion Beetroot corn Salt Green chilies ginger chick peas 3 slices of bread cumin seeds (Jeera in hindi) Oil red chilli powder garam masala coriander powder Corn flour (Maida in hindi) Bread crumbs Method used : wash and Peel the skin of beetroot/ grate the beetroot. Pressure cook the potato. (Peel and mash them) Blend them altogether with bread slices and make a coarse powder. Make a watery batter with cornflour & water.
